Moving material: cardboard boxes and much more
If you, as a moving customer, do your packing yourself, we will provide you with your moving materials in good time before the move date. Delivery is either via our material tour or a parcel service on the date you wish. All you have to do is let us know before the move when you need the material from your moving offer. We will arrange everything else for you. The same service also applies, of course, to everyone who does their own move and uses our moving materials.
Those who move themselves can get our professional materials from the zapf material shop.
Important: For every reusable box that you bring back yourself, you will receive a 1 Euro deposit back.
Moving service: parking zones and paths
In most cases, moving means transport by truck. In order to keep the carrying effort for our employees and thus the overall costs for you to a minimum, we set up parking zones for your move where there would otherwise be no space in front of the house. This includes the necessary official permits and the installation of parking signs before the move itself.
Preparations are also necessary here and there for all other routes in order to keep the effort to a minimum. You will discuss the conditions relevant to the move with the moving consultant on site, such as the usability of passenger and freight elevators, clearance heights, etc.
Setting up no-parking zones (HVZ). We aim to provide comprehensive services.
To ensure that your move runs smoothly, zapf umzüge offers the setting up of no-parking zones (HVZ). If you organize your move yourself, you can also book individual no-parking zones with us. For a no-parking zone, the installation location is inspected, the zone is then applied for at the responsible office and installed after approval has been granted. According to the road traffic authority, the no-parking signs must be installed 72 hours before the start of the validity period. After the expiry of the validity period, we will take care of the prompt return of the signs. The costs for the no-parking zones vary depending on the location. Information on installation:
- The length of the no-parking zone is usually 20-25m
- The signs are placed at right angles to the road or parking area
- They are attached with a total of 60 kg base plate (2 x 30 kg)
- Installation at least 72 hours before the start of the validity period
Disposal - Recycle and create space
A move, whether private or business, is the best way to get rid of unnecessary furniture and anything else that is getting in the way. During the on-site appointment, your moving consultant will pick up the items that you no longer want to see in the future. We will dispose of everything for you in one go when you move.
Your furniture goes to your new home, unnecessary ballast, bulky waste and unwanted items end up at the disposal company and are of course separated and recycled there.
Temporary Storage
You need to move out of your old apartment, but the new one isn't quite ready yet. Or you're still looking and don't want to pay double rent. Whatever happens, we'll keep your belongings until you move into your new apartment. Especially when moving long distances, the timing may not fit in with your obligations at your old home.
We know how it works: We store everything in a warehouse or container for interim storage. As soon as you are ready, we bring your furniture and boxes to your new home.
